PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Head Men’s Basketball Coach Steve Pikiell announced today that Akwasi Yeboah has signed to compete at Rutgers University. A transfer from Stony Brook University, Yeboah joins the Scarlet Knights with one year of eligibility remaining.

“I’m so excited to have Akwasi Yeboah joining Rutgers Nation,” head coach Steve Pikiell said. “Akwasi brings a versatility on both ends of the floor that’s exciting. He can guard multiple positions. He has a knack for shooting threes and he’s a terrific free throw shooter. He adds versatility, athleticism, maturity and brings a skill set that we are excited about. Most importantly, he’s a great kid from a great family, a hard worker, a great student, and will represent Rutgers well.”
