Rutgers to Host the Big10 Wrestling Tournament in 2020

How does allocation of tickets work for hosting university? I assume we are given a larger section given we are at home?

Will definitely help season ticket subscriptions in 2020.
And Anthony Ashnault can go for his 5th Big 10 Title !! :-)

Damn, I was kind of hoping it would be at Prudential Center. I'm with @RickB113 in the sense this will sell out quickly. The lower bowl of Prudential would be neat and allow for more RU fans, as I'm sure they will allocate sections to each school. Penn St. will surely bring a big contingency given the closeness factor. I hope we as season ticket holders have some sort of priority. Can't worry about that now, though.

They need to force NJSIAA to move the State Tourney back a week. This is a massive recruiting opportunity for RU.
That won't happen nor should it. The HS state tournament is just as big, if not bigger, the the B1G championships in this state. Hopefully not on the same weekend for sure

Just as big and used to be the week between NCAA conference tournaments and NCAA Championships. Got moved because the A10 basketball tournament was also in AC. When basketball left AC NJSIAA never gave back the week to wrestling. I think it is possible that it gets moved at least for that year.

I'm sure NJSIAA are already booked for Boardwalk Hall that weekend. I think the RAC would be Great for EIWA tournament but not sure about the B1G.

Much better to host at home at The RAC. Season ticket holders should get some sort of priority and tickets will probably be based on priority points.

States should be moved up a week permanently. At the very least, if they're not, then they should be moved to Thurs, Fri, Sat or just Fri and Sat, so that everyone can come up to The RAC on Sun for the B1G semis and finals.

I'm not sure they're already booked. It'll be fine at The RAC.

Don't really know anything about wrestling, but have been trying to get into it and learn more about it knowing how good our program is becoming. Was about 50/50 on seasons for this past season...this news just got me on the contact list. Hosting this is a B1G opportunity for RU wrestling and RU sports.
