This is another good step in the process of Rutgers integrating the somewhat fragmented (inherited pieces) of their Health Care (Academics and Hospitals) into a Comprehensive System.
As this process continues to unfold, I suspect Rutgers will continue to advance in the rankings of their Health Science Programs (Medical Schools, Pharmacy etc.) in Magazines such as US News and World Reports (Americas Best Graduate Schools). I also think Research Funding will significantly continue to increase.
Pitt went through a long process of integrating the University of Pittsburgh (Academic Side/ Health Science Programs) with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC Hospital Side) working together to enhance each others strengths.
Rutgers continues to put it all together.

Anyone know what is holding up the name change of RWJBarnabas to Rutgers Health .Seems like I read at least two years ago, it was expected in about six months.
