Oklahoma and RU about to wrestle in 5 minutes...Flo announcer is painful. Overly Woody Allen nasal caricature of Brooklynese. loves that he was a mat chairman 2 hours into Foxcatcher. said it 3x.

Rutgers on Flowrestling Pro

125: McCabe gets first takedown about 20 sec to go in first period. McCabe starts second perion on bottom. McCabe out quickly. up 3-0. Williams starts down in third. gets an escape and a takedown. cuts McCabe who holds onto 4-3 victory.
RU 3-0

133: DelVecchio vs Cody Brewer (redshirt Jr) of Oklahoma. DelVecchio gets first takedown. Brewer escapes, gets a takedown, Delvecchio escapes. 3-3 at end of first. DelVecchio starts second on top, but Brewer escapes, now up 4-3.

Brewer is getting in on Scott's legs too easily. Scott gets escape and brewer takes him down again. 8-4 to end second period with 54 seconds riding for brewer to start 3rd. Scott gets escape now 8-5. Scott needs two takedowns in minute to tie. Scott looks tired.

Brewer gets another takedown and wins 11-5. Scott has to be better on feet defense. Got taken down at will.
RU 3 - O 3

141 - Ashnault versus Blackwell (freshman) Ashnault gets quick takedown and 2 point tilt. Eventually works into a cheaptilt for 3 and then a bow and arrow converting for another 3 points. Up 10-0 with riding. Ashnault starts down, gets out. Gets 2 point takedown. now up 13-0. 2:35 riding time.

Ashnualt gets 13-0 lead to finish second.AA gets takedown in 3rd to get tech fall.
RU 8 - Oklahoma 3

Josh, Thanks so much for the commentary. I don't have an Escape subscription nor is TrackWrestling updating at all. I will follow your posts and comments closely, Thanks again !

149: Theobold versus Shayne Tucker (R-Fr) of Sacramento. Active first period from both guys.no score to end first period. Theobold has choice and defers, who takes bottom.

Theo rides and gets a nice bow and arrow (working with ashnault clearly!!) and pickes up 3 backs. smart move holding hand in. Theo is riding tough and gets another bow & Arrow and another 3 !! up 6-0 with full period riding . Theo reverses him in third, now up 8-0 with riding guaranteed. Theor has one lapse and gets reversed, losing the major decision. Theo wins 9-2.
RU 11 - Oklahoma 3

Thanks again ! Nice wins by Ash and Theo ! Josh, you there or watching on Flo?

157: Perrotti #5 vs DeAngelis #14 (r-Sr)...active first period. no score, nothing that close. Perrotti takes down to start 2nd. AP classic scramble out the back door for 2 point reversal.

Perrotti riding after reversal and active on top. gets a minute riding before DeAngelis gets out. DeAngelis starts on bottom in 3rd. DeAngelis gets out. Gets in on AP's leg. DeAngelis gets takedown and puts in legs. no riding time now.

AP gets out with 20 seconds. gets sloppy and taken down. now 6-3. and that is how it ends. AP needs to capitalize on the high energy first two periods.
RU 11 Oklahoma 6

165: Orr versus Clark Glass (r-So). Orr gets first takedown. Glass escapes. blood time out right now. still in first period.

Perrotti's ranking will drop after that loss. RU needed that one, hurts their chances for win here considerably. Coach can't be happy.

Orr getting ridden and doing little on bottom. looks tired. Has to do something. come on!! posting head on mat and doing nothing.

Orr starts on third. Glass out immediately. 2-2 but Glass has riding time. Glass gets takedown. now up 4-2 with riding. Orr needs activity. come on!! Orr just looks tired. 165 might be too hard on him. this is first match of day. Glass rides out and wins 5-2 including riding.

174: Phil Bakuckas versus Matt Reed (r-So) This is a big match for RU. we need this given loss at 157. no score in first. just pawing and nothing real happened.
Phil starts down and gets out after about 25 seconds. Phil looks physical, but he is not getting real shot.

Note: what i dont like about last two matches is that we got first takedown in each and lost both matches.

Phil gets headlocked and it looked bad, but rolled through and got the two points! rode him out. Phil up 3-0 to start third, but Reed gets out quickly. only 44 sec riding, so Reed needs takedown to tie. Phil needs nothing silly. make him win, dont need to lose. Reed gets takedown.Phil gets out. 16 seconds left. Phil holds on for 4-3 win! Whew!
RU 14 Oklahoma 9

184: Hrymack versus good freshman Brooks Climmons, who was at Olympic Dev last year. Climmons gets first takedown about 1:20 in. Hrymack is about 6 inches taller.

Hrymack out ...Climmons low center and Hrymack long legs could make for a tough matching. Hrymack gets a takedown off a failied shot and then Climmons escapes. Not sure why Hayden has not focused on leg rides as it is such a natural advantage.
He is about 6'4" and it not going to muscle guys.

Hrymack got out on bottom in second, so third period starts 4-3. no riding advantage and Climmons takes standing!

Holy cow....Hrymack gets takedown and takes it to a Pin !!!! OMG !!!
That is $630 bucks for Pin Pool !!!!!

197: Anthony Pafumi versus Brad Johnson (r-So) Johnson clearly bigger and stronger. pushing Pafumi backwards. Pafumi fights and no score in first period. Pafumi down to start second. Pafumi out , but taken down. 2-1 Johnson.

Pafumi is fighting hard and doing his job. We need Pafumi to keep it to 3 points since Oklahoma is expecting a pin at 285. We are up 20-9. (my mistake earlier)

Pafumi is fighting in 3rd period. 30 secs left, Johnson up 3-2. Flo's friggin camera goes out. are you goddamn kidding me?

Same here.

So if Pafumi loses 3-2 and our heavy gets pinned, we still win, right 20-18?

Per the twitter feed Oklajhoma won by decision at 197 and by pin at 285 but RU wins the match 20-18
