Rutgers v Oklahoma @ Asics Journeymen (Albany)

I wonder if they lost WiFi or something up there because @RUWrestling stopped tweeting for 10 mins too.

Nonetheless, we win 20-18!

Johnson beats Pafumi by decision and Larson (UO) wins by Fall.
But RU wins 20-18 !!

MVPs - Ashnault and Hrymack and Pafumi for doing their job and then some.

Great win by Scarlet Knights.

Don't think it was that since other mat cameras were feeding.

Thanks again Josh, and to the others who picked up the final results !! Should sweep the day now !

Great updates Josh!! I don't know anything about wrestling at all but always like following all of the RU teams and glad to see winning ones like wrestling.
Congrats to the team in the Win...

Thank you so much for updates Josh. You made me feel like I was right there. Much appreciated .

Final wrap-up:

125: McCabe beats Williams 4-3 RU up 3 - 0
133: Delvecchio loses to Brewer 11-5 Tied 3-3
141: Ashnault TF Blackwell 16-0* RU up 8-3
149: Theobold beats Tucker 9-2** RU up 11-3
157: Perrotti loses to DeAngelis 6-3 RU up 11-6
165: Orr loses to Glass 5-2 RU up 11-9
174: Bakuckas beats Reed 4-3 RU up 14-9
184: Hrymack pins Climmons*** RU up 20-9
(Hrymack pin = $630 for Pin Pool http://www.scarletknightswrestlingclub.com/pin-pool )
197: Pafumi loses to Johnson**** RU up 20-12
285: Bernard pinned by Larson RU wins 20-18

My notes:
* Ashnault TFs without giving up one point? In the Big Ten? Anyone question if AA is the real deal?
** Theo giving up two points takes away major and makes Pafumi relevant. Every point counts during the 7 minutes.
*** Hrymack = MVP. Hits grandslam at the clutch during relatively even match. **** Pafumi gets E for Effort award. If he is pinned, we lose 21-20. Instead he stays in it to the end, losing by one point.

Now imagine if Campolattano is there and Smith is not injured. Assuming regular wins, RU 26 - UO 12.

I'm really happy a few guys are getting a chance to wrestle with our injuries and whatnot. We have some solid depth at some spots. That being said, the depth at a few other spots has me majorly concerned. Can't wait to get those two in the lineup. Kudos to the team for winning without them.

165: Gravina - Shoulder. Hopes to be back in a few weeks.
285: Smith - Knee. Hurt it jumping rope day.
Both were within 24 hours of Hofstra match. Long season and no reason to force premature return. Late Dec & January is tough.
