Yeh, no problem. Fire Eatman and pay him to go away. CVS has a $5M deal even if she retires to a desk job. The Athletic Department continues to bleed red ink and the Board of Governors is as happy as a clam. Only in NJ, no one cares about the bottom line.Another disaster of a start.
This spells the need to change head coaches right now. Then bring in new blood at end of season if whoever replaces Tim doesn't succeed in a great turnaround in play.
As I said before trhis season even started, CVS' return needs to be tied in with what Tim does.
Tim does a bad job and deserves to be let go, Vivian moves to Administrative position and designated Head Coach Emeritus.
If she won't accept that, pay her off and cut ties.
Stringer had every right to take a leave of absence, but the way it was handled by her and Hobbs demands she be held accountable for how this season turns out.
Tim's prior HC experience never led to a HCing position and the way this team plays might show why.Watching the first two games left me disappointed but I can't even bare to finish this game against Arizona. Tim Eaton is not a good head coach... at all. They should have elevated Nadine Domond to Acting Head Coach. His prior head coaching experience does not show at all.
There’s no severance package for her she is getting moved to an administrative job and will collect the rest of the 4.8 million she’s due and of course that will basically be a no show jobPlease Mr Hobbs wrap up a severance package for CVS and start process to bring in a top notch coach!

Unbelievable.... After yesterday's 26-8 halftime score against Vanderbilt, I didn't think things could get worse... At today's 46-8 first half disaster against Arizona, RU was 3 for 17 from the field with 18 turnovers in the first half. At least we're consistent, shooting 3-17 for 8 points in the first halves of both of our last two games... None of the Arizona starters played more than 18 minutes against us, and in our 3 losses at the Paradise Jam we had 20, 26, and 30 turnovers, respectively.. Aye yai yai.wow 46-8 at halftime...you can only laugh at what this program has become
but I am not surprised at all
hard to win with all transfersHobbs got played.
Cannot believe how many here are defending CVS
It is challenging, but a good coach who knows what he/she is doing would welcome that challenge given the talent level of the transfers. These young ladies bring a lot to the table and none of it negative from what we can see. As bad as things have gone, they haven't gotten into any ego trippin or checking out on the coach. They have appeared to go above and beyond to try to execute what Tim is trying to do. Just seems like Tim hasn't fully figured that out yet.hard to win with all transfers
Not that I disagree, but Arizona's bench outscored Rutgers according to today's paper here in Tucson. And adding insult to injury I guess, Adia said she was waiting for a blowout to play said bench.hard to win with all transfers
They also have a coach; NO need to say anymoreNot that I disagree, but Arizona's bench outscored Rutgers according to today's paper here in Tucson. And adding insult to injury I guess, Adia said she was waiting for a blowout to play said bench.
The bench includes some transfers and a number of first year players. What Arizona has, and Rutgers seems to lack, is a strong experienced starting lineup - Arizona's includes 4 seniors though at least one is planning to come back next year.
From what I saw, Arizona can put together a five from their bench that can beat their own starters. They've got very good, SEC proven transfers in Koi Love and Ariyah Copeland, both of whom came off the bench. The freshman Vonleh is highly skilled coming from a pedigree of ball players(one played for the Knicks maybe 5 years ago). The three of them could start for a lot of top 25 teams. Not that I disagree, but Arizona's bench outscored Rutgers according to today's paper here in Tucson. Ware's spot is secure. Very versatile, was on the USA U19 team. Interestingly, she had planned to be a 2 sport athlete and skipped volleyball last year due to Covid. Not sure of her plans going forward. From what I saw, Arizona can put together a five from their bench that can beat their own starters. First I've seen of Sanchez, but she looks to be a highly skilled gem of a freshman who will become a bigger part of the rotation. These four are good enough to start for Arizona, but of course the players who have been there would get the nod because they are most familiar with the system(and loyalty to a degree). Talent-wise, the team is a solid 10-12 players deep at least.
IMO, Reese, Thomas, and Pellington are the only ones who's spots would be secure in the starting lineup. I think Koi will end up in there eventually.
