Rutgers vs Ohio State / Game Thread

Gotta feel good. As crappy as we played could be down 20
Our defense keeps us in games. The reason we "don't go away," as the announcers like to say, is because of our defense. We make teams miss shots, it isn't because they had an off night. We are the cause of their off nights. Now if we start hitting shots, especially when we get near the rim, we're golden.

The first half is following the pattern of past games where Rutgers stays close but still flounders on offense because of the lack of shooters .Rutgers must have missed at least 6 layups which are critical to winning games. It looks like Johnson will have to lead Rutgers because Williams and Sanders are having poor shooting efforts.

Need to get a better start to the second half, it's been a problem all year.

Live I thought it was good block , didn't pay too much attention to replay. Was probably typing!
Even on the replay it looked like it was still on its way up. It hit the glass and was still ascending (so it appeared) when Free got it.

We're shooting 34% and OSU 54% and only down three. Something to be said for crashing the boards I guess. OSU also 2-6 from FT line.

Correct call - ball hit the backboard before Freeman touched it.
That's not the rule in the pros, not sure about college. In the NBA, if the ball is still on its way up, regardless of hitting glass, it's a good block.

We ain't pretty, but you look up and every game we're hanging in there.
We've become the team that people like to watch because we're somewhat unpredictable and could just win games we shouldn't.
Can't wait until we get some shooters and start playing with a lead.
OSU hits three 3's on one chance shots and we have trouble scoring a basket just before halftime. Caught a break on the foul.

We started the second half on a 10-1 run. I am RutgersRaRa, and I totally fvkicng approach of this message.
