Some just love to complain. We have six new team members and with twenty Big games and five other big games we will once again be in the top thirty teams in strength of schedule out of about 360 teams. Give it a rest already.

The issue with the schedule strength isn’t this game. Our cupcake list for this season is pretty middle of the road. Bryant and Howard will be decent. Most of the other teams return a lot of their players and should improve (except maybe Long Island).

Pike didn’t know who he was going to get in the Gavitt games or where it would be played until very late in the planning. With @ SHU and @ Wake penciled in, scheduling another road game was out of the question. Committing early to a neutral tourney somewhere was also a major risk because what if Gavitt sent us on the road (it’s not a guarantee to alternate). There’s no way we wanted that many games away from the tri state area. Limited options for this year.

They play Uconn, Kentucky, Miami before RU... I heard of the school, but that's about it.
The name sounds more like a prep school.
