Rutgers Women’s Golf to Open Season at Kansas State

After a record-setting 2018-19 season that saw the Scarlet Knights set a program-record with a 300.07 stroke average, Rutgers begins its fall campaign Sept. 15-16 at the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational hosted by Kansas State. Eleven teams will compete on the par 72, 6,256-yard Colbert Hills Golf Course that features zoysia fairways and bentgrass greens.

Women’s Golf Sixth After Day One at Colbert Hills


Rutgers women's golf is sixth with a 609 (304-305) total after the first two rounds of the 11-team Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational, played Sunday at Colbert Hills Golf Course. Sophomore Maeve Rossi is tied for 10th in the 62-player field with a 148 (76-72) to pace the Scarlet Knights entering Monday's final round.

Women’s Golf Places Sixth in Season Opener


Rutgers women's golf placed sixth with a 908 (304-305-299) total at the 11-team Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational, played Sunday and Monday at Colbert Hills Golf Course. Four Scarlet Knights finished among the top 25, as RU was even on par five holes to lead the tournament in the category.
