Rutgers Women's Soccer Earns Two B1G Players of the Year, Six League Honors

So happy for Erica Skroski, BIG Defender of the Year. In my view, she is the most complete player on the team, as well as the quarterback. Spoke about her early in the season & last year. She can clearly play professionally & is National Team caliber IMO.

Was going to post after the BIG tourney that if Kenie Wright didn't make the All Freshman team it would be a crime. What a player. Not big, but strong, fast, excellent with the ball, great moves, great instincts & TOUGH. Played a good deal early in the year & has become a starter with major minutes over the last quite a number of games. No way Coach O'Neil couldn't go that way. Kudos to him & staff for recruiting her & having the savvy & confidence to give her major minutes right away.

Congratulations to Erica, Kenie, Bri, Casey, Katelyn & Maggie. Congratulations as well to all of the ladies on this excellent team for their great regular season play & accomplishments.

Congratulations to Coach O'Neil & staff. Best of luck to all, staff & team, going forward. Go RU.

Wow. That is quite a list of honors. And Casey leads the nation in giving up just 0.27 goals per game. That is amazing and speaks both to her abilities as well as to the defensive line of RU overall.

Congratulations to all of the B1G honorees and to our team for a great season that hopefully has many more achievements in store.

This should be in the Ledger & other papers. I don't have e-mail. Would anyone consider e-mailing Sargeant, et al?
