This is how I would treat 2025-26. I can't see freshman being paid real money. To me, if you are a 4 star recruit, you are getting an average of $100-$150k in year one. If you produce, you get rewarded in year 2, 3 and 4. We might have to make some exceptiions, but i'm talking averages. I would go after 5 portal players at the $750k- $800k level. That should yield you 5 experienced starters at $4 million. If you have 4 freshman at $100k each, that's $4.4 million for 9 players. That gives you $600k for another 2-3 players.
I'm not really sure what else you can do for that amount. If they raise a little more privately, it would help.
