Kumar has been a very nice transfer addition.. He's given the team another option, adding depth to a team where that had been lacking for some time.
In the shootout yesterday, PSU and Minnesota tied for 1st at -8 with RU 4 strokes behind. PSU's Jake Griffin won the individual title with a 6 Under 66.
The 13 team Johnny-O starts with 36 holes tomorrow with the final 18 Tuesday. Besides host #86 Rutgers, other B1G teams participating are #37 OSU, #50 MSU, #70 Minnesota, #85 Iowa, and #99 PSU. Other Top 50 teams are #25 Kansas State, #42 Notre Dame, and #43 UNCG. Rutgers lineup will be Xavier Marcoux, Luke Wells, the aforementioned Noah Kumar, Weston Jones, and Rhett Sellers. James Newton and Brendon Hansen will play as individuals.
