This may be a real stupid question thats not OT. Ive been to Rutgers Stadium a few times last couple of years in the upper deck. I know that theres seatbacks up there. Im looking to buy tickets to probably 2, 3 games this year at different seat locations. Are there seat back in the lower level north end zone/corner seats in the section? It there are, cool because my back is like a pretzel sometimes. If not, ill just go back up to 205 for the Indiana, Illinois, and hopefully Iowa games.

Thanks.

You can also purchase the Knight cushions for the season. Gives you a seat back and clearly defines your seats.

the Knight cushions are the best $5 we spend at every game. No more dragging our own stadium seats and more importantly clear definition of seats.

Anybody ever have a problem with them being wet? I like the idea.

I would imagine if there was even a little hole they would soak up water and them release it when you sit in it.

The knight cushions are great. I know exactly where my seats are, and I easily can get people out of my seats when I arrive. Before I had them, I always had issues of people slidding into my seat location whenever I got up to get food or use the bathroom.

Are hard back seats allowed? Most stadiums do not allow them.

Rutgers does allow them.

@RU1977 talk to your ticket rep about adding the Knight Cushions to your account. RU puts them in your seats for the whole season, they never get removed. They have actually started adding them to the stadium already, I saw a bunch on the lower level near the tunnel on Sunday. (if your question was about price I think they are $5 each per game but then again I could be totally off on that)

The same company does them at Penn State(IMG College Seating). We have had them for years and never had a problem like that. They are a thick vynl that you would really have to cut. If for some reason there a problem they will replace it that day. They have a lot of experience with this.

We bring in a few hand towels on rainy days, usually takes care of it. Sometimes if it rained a lot in the days prior, they need to be squeezed out a bit, but nothing to deter me from getting them every year.

Agree with Mrs. S - no brainer of an investment.

Okay, so that has happened.

But as others have said they will change for you right away, yes?

I'm not sure I understand the question - if you are asking if the stadium changed out the cushion if it was wet? We've never asked, but I would highly doubt it. They are bolted on for the season. If I'm missing your question, please let me know.

I always bring a black garbage bag just in case for my cushions if rain is predicted. Lay it across my two seats and it works out just fine.

I don't recall ever sitting on saturated cushions. As @PSU_Nut said above, they are pretty thick vinyl, kinda tough to saturate them.

Not necessarily just because they are wet. I'm asking if there is a problem when you get to your seat, like a rip that will cause it to remain wet would they change for you that day.

I would think they would since you can buy them on game day I would think there is enough staff to do this.

And I was just going on what @PSU_Nut said here...

I think you pay for them for the season. The $5/game is just the broken down price people are quoting. I don't think you can buy them day of unless things have changed.

Sorry, has never been an issue for us, so I really don't know

We are going into our 4th year with them. Have never had an issue.

An @e5fdny it's quite possible that @PSU_Nut is talking about what happens at psu and not at HPSS.

I am guessing because the same company does them in both stadium I am sure their policy the same.
I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure I see the Knight Cushions on racks in the lower level before the game.

I assumed because of that there was a game day purchase option?

They have racks of just plain grey ones at Oenn state for single game rentals.
