This, and the easy win over an 11-1 Ivy team is a little misleading. They played a fairly soft zone. Ace got mostly wide open shots. That won't happen in Big 10 play. We won't see much zone for sure.
Was Hinson's at home? if so I saw it.
My Hinson story was that I once blocked his shot..... that he was recovering from his NBA leg injury shooting FTs at the barn and I came from behind him and blocked one just to say I did it. Totally not true. yes, he was there shooting FTs.. and I did not want to disturb him by saying hi. But I did THINK about pulling that off just for the story.
A true story is that someone on the women's team blocked MY shot at Werblin some years later.
Everyone in a slump.. Martini, PJ.. my recommendation.. crewcuts. Buzz off the bad luck.
I played against Roy in high school. I got an and one on him. My claim to fame. Later in life I worked with his mom.
