Second Soccer Player academically ineligible?

Can anyone confirm this? I have heard from a few people that you will lose another starter for the year.
The second player is a very important part of the side. Doesn't Rutgers have a great academic support program? Is your coach even paying attention to this? I hope for the team's and players sake, that the rumors are untrue.

Yea, looks to be true, two very big losses,
Two very good kids, college academics can be very tough while juggling the demands of a division one commitment .
My hope is that they take the time to get school work in order,

Look back at the scrimmage Game Tracker and see what guys from last year didn't play. Two will stick out. I can't say for sure that it's them but that would be my guess.

College academics can be very tough while juggling the demands of a division one commitment.

I'll probably put my foot in my mouth with this post, but I'm going to make it anyway.

Best of luck to them in getting their ducks in a row, but please be serious with the statement above.

Eligibility isn't maintained by getting just straight As. You can get Bs and Cs and still manage to stay eligible. If you're going to make the commitment to a D1 program, you better be ready for the academic side of things too. Especially with academic support and various professors going out of their way with accommodations to help athletes who spend a bunch of time traveling. To end up on ineligible for grades is just sad. Sports isn't an excuse.

Alright since I honestly don't have any inside info I'll just report that Rayon Gibbs and Spencer Hambleton didn't appear in the Gametracker for the scrimmage against Bryant. Again this doesn't mean it's them but that would be my best guess.
