Shaheen Halloway post game handshake 😳

Oh stop! It was admittedly bad look which should not be repeated. Sha and Copeland are actually very close. Both took full blame for the encounter and expressed their embarrassment.

What blamed did Copeland have to take in this? That he had his team play to the last minute of the game? Should he have had them leave the court knowing that they were going to lose?

Copeland had no reason whatsoever to apologize and should not have.

The interaction did not make sense and was bad from an optics standpoint. The game was not even close and Holloway/Copeland have an established relationship.

I think a half season suspension for Sha should suffice. We can’t have all these slappys ruin the game. 😎

Don't you love how there's always a Seton Hall troll who jumps on here to defend them no matter what they did? The very same people who will pick on any little thing one of our coaches or players does.

What blame did Copeland need to take? He did nothing wrong. Probably told Sha to mind his own business and I’ll coach my team how I see fit.
Copeland supposedly said said something to the effect to Sha “ this (SHU) will be my job in 2 years.” I have to admit that’s a really good come back. Of course, Shaheen overreacted to the comment. Shaheen was a mentor to Copeland and did not appreciate that comment that all.

Anyone who has a brother knows that sparks sometimes fly when you’re close to someone.

Not a big deal.
No. Not a big deal. Doesn’t rise to slappy level.

But completely unacceptable nonetheless. A HC can’t lose their temper and physically confront an opposing coach like that regardless of how well they know each other. If Copeland were similarly hot headed that could have turned into something.

That’s what happens when you don’t have a mature adult coaching a team.
It;s the Gonzo effect.
Shaheen just utilizing his inner Bobby Gonzalez and Herb Pope disposition
Speaking of Bobby, RU's Pat Hobbs got rid of him at the Hall and Holloway's
Howard act would probably get a reprimand from Pat ,if he was still in South Orange.
Heck maybe Herb Pope got his bad attitude from a Pirate assistant coach (Shaheen)
he played under as a Pirate 😃

Yikes….Something tells me his fame achieved by catching lighting in a bottle will be short lived…

More like Copeland taking the classy high road and not blasting H. He had every right .

This story reminds me of the time everybody at SHU jumped all over Ty Shine after Eddie Griffen punched him for not passing him the ball enough.

Yep if weren't for the internet maybe 50 people saw that game on Channel 9 and it would have gone unnoticed.

Copeland had his team pressing SHU's bench warmers (maybe even some walk-ons, even with 37 seconds left. Stay with your man but let them dribble the shot clock down to zero.

That's probably what Copeland was apologizing for.

Unfortunately for Seton Hall instead of people talking about the win people are talking about this foolishness.

Guess that falls on the shoulders of their foolish coach’s actions.
