does anyone know why duocore was playing over him? He looks solid tonight, could have used him earlier.

Probably having a difficult time with the D or picking up the offense.does anyone know why duocore was playing over him? He looks solid tonight, could have used him earlier.
Uhh, no.Pikiell's obviously been keeping him under wraps until big ten season
First McConnell, now Carter . . . .slowly all of the new guys are emerging as contributors. We are building quality depth and inching closer to Big 10 basketball relevancy.
All you Carter haters can eat poo tonight.
Well in defense of whoever has commented he hasn’t played. Not like he is a frosh; he has 1 2/3 seasons of eligibility left.
No I'm not being sarcastic. I think Pikiell knew Shaq could contribute significant minutes in Big Ten play - why show his hand before conference play.Uhh, no.
Forgive me if you're being sarcastic
Show what hand? Shaq is a banger. Guys like him are a dime a dozen in the B1G. Do you think Wisconsin was shocked by his dynamic skill set? Wisconsin sees plenty of Shaq Carter types. No I'm not being sarcastic. I think Pikiell knew Shaq could contribute significant minutes in Big Ten play - why show his hand before conference play.
Maybe, or maybe there's another reason he hasn't been playing. Discipline, academics? - who knows.and what happened he learned the D and O this week I don't buy that
Shaq needs to play. Not sure what’s been going on there.
The reality is, it's taken him some time to get used to power 5 hoops. He's starting to get it. A good sign, but expect some setbacks along the way.
Playing time is earned. If he didn't earn it, I'm glad he didn't get it. Game minutes are precious and MUST be earned through effort and execution during practice. If you just start giving minutes to "see what he can do", you're sending the wrong message to your players, and will ultimately lead to division in the locker room. The idea of “hiding”Shaq C doesn’t make sense to me, but I’m baffled why a guy with no experience at this level didn’t get ten minutes in the early games where it was easily available.
If you mean something attitudinal, I agree. If you're talking level of performance in pracice, I dont. We had at least three blowout games. Getting him in for a few minutes here and there. if you're looking for him to contribute own the road, is the thing to do and what is best for the team..Playing time is earned. Pike and I happen to feel different than you, but you're certainly entitled to your opinionIf you mean something attitudinal, I agree. If you're talking level of performance in pracice, I dont. When did Pike tell you this?Pike and I happen to feel different than you, but you're certainly entitled to your opinion
Why not throw in Luke Nathan? What about Nick Brooks or Joey Downs? Look around the NCAA. That's not how it works. This isn't Saturday morning rec basketball. When did Pike tell you this?

I guess they’ll be needed during the season, like SC will, and that all of a sudden v UW he became a solid enough player, in what, ten days, to hold his own against a Top Ten team. Why not throw in Luke Nathan?
