Ummm Caroo was suspended for the first half so he didn't have the first catch of the season . So I guess you mean a touchdown catch on his own first catches of the season ,in 3 consecutive seasons .
I would say in the long history of college football this has probably happened before.

Ummm Caroo was suspended for the first half so he didn't have the first catch of the season . So I guess you mean a touchdown catch on his own first catches of the season ,in 3 consecutive seasons .

Ok I would say yes then it has happened . Now if it was a player making the first team's catch of the season , all as touchdowns in three consecutive year , more unlikely to happen .
