I saw Doege, and thought that entity DOGE. Forget what it means.Missed this hire and forgot Babers was at Arizona, not anymore though.
Arizona fired offensive coordinator Dino Babers after a 4-8 season, during which the team dropped to 115th nationally in scoring offense.
Doege helped Marshall to 10 wins and a Sun Belt Conference championship this year. Marshall coach Charles Huff left Sunday for the same role at Southern Miss.
Before Marshall, Doege coached tight ends at Purdue under coordinator Graham Harrell in 2023. He has also spent time at Ole Miss, USC and Bowling Green.

I was trying to be "cryptic" so as to not invoke "his" name and derail this thread. Some people's heads explode when his name is brought up. I think he should be our next DC. 😜
I think Bill found out the interest NFL teams had for him wasn't that strong and the ones that shown interest wouldn't give him the power he expected to have
So of course he has no plans on going back, for now 😜
I'm surprised but most of these kind of names are probably pick your brain excursions or maybe assistant roles if said coach wanted a change.
I was a one time Raider fan and I know Al Davis would do things like that.

The sense I'm getting on @Raiders/Bill Belichick per sources: The talks were more about Tom Brady picking Belichick's brain on search process/traits, etc, rather than trying to bring him to LV as the head coach.

Unfortunately for my old favorite team, Mark Davis needs a lot more than "pick your brain" sessions. Hard to top the "senile Al" years but his son seems to have done it with with flying colors. I don't even watch or pay much attention to the NFL that much anymore and I can still see it lol.

BB’s problem in the NFL is his record without Brady backed up when Brady leaves and wins and somehow, that is when NE starts losing.,,
More and more Colorado needs to prepare or Sander's leaving and it's fans realize the Buffs were just a pleasant stop where he could prove his worth.
Nothing wrong with that , the coaching life finds them moving from place to place until they get the the deal and place that they feel is best for them.
Sanders might return for 2025, but he has a shown a willingness to leave for greener pastures and ended the thought, some might have had, that he's a Buff for life

"My sons, Travis included, are getting ready to migrate to the NFL," he added before this past season. "I'm not following them to the NFL. So, I plan on being here and being dominant, here."

I’m told the offer sheet between Bill Belichick and North Carolina is binding, that Belichick is on a recruiting trip right now and there is no plan for him to renege on his current agreement for any potential NFL offer.
