We need to move on

It's obvious to everyone

Let's remember that how we act here, including how the university handles the termination and settlement of Coach flood's contract, will certainly be noticed by those who are interested in leading our program in 2016 and beyond

It's obvious this is going to end...let it finish out not looking like aholes...and focus on supporting the program and channeling our energy who will be best to next to lead our program

we need to move on, it is obvious...but I don't think it is certain. I am hoping beyond hope, but I worry

Who is going to erase the last two weeks of posts here?

The day a coaching candidate looks to a teams Rival's site--on the night immediately after the 4th embarrassing loss in a row--and comes away questioning his desire to take a job, is a day that will never come in any of our lifetimes.

I like your posts Shack, but think this one is off the reservation.

Civility should be maintained for civility's sake. Not because Al Golden or Mark Rhule or whomever reads an internet message board.

Unfortunately, with Julie Hermann at the helm and with Barchi riding into the sunset next year... you can't be certain about anything. Keep in mind this is the same admin duo that rewarded Flood with a 2 year extension after the 2013 debacle.

F-off. This sad excuse for a B1G university and the clown college athletic department doesn't deserve our taking it easy. Attitudes like yours are why we suck at football.

Trust me you won't see many Fire Flood posts and threads once Rutgers does the right thing for the program, the students and fans when they FIRE FLOOD!

Agreed.

I hereby promise to never, ever call for Fludd's firing once he's fired.

Although, a part of me would like to see him fired from RU more than once, for what he's done to the program.

There is no evidence anywhere that Barchi has any interest in replacing Flood.
Instead, he has said he will not spend any more money for athletics until the deficit is eliminated. He does NOT care about the win/loss record. He does NOT care about the fans or the message boards. He will not do anything until there is $$$$.

Hudson

Since i don't have a medium to address the entire fan base.\My comments are here where I can vent it and some can see it

And you know by now the media and the star ledger spefically use this forum
To see what's going on in this fan bases heads

So individually my message is small

But if you look at this forum and other forums and look at social media (The Facebook rants are often off the chart nasty) my message is pretty on point

How this school acts now as how it's fan base now acts now will be partially in the thinking of the next guy

Handing it right helps

Ru screw

Yes..THE reason why we are down is because we made a bad hire as part of a money issues Bedause of that phrase again "lack of Instutional support"

This is exactly why this fan base need to channel our energies into who make as the next hire"

I am greatly concerned that the people at top won't do it right

Part of reason why I wrote this message

Get it ?

Middle-aged men who may be dissuaded by what is said on a message board from accepting five and six figure coaching jobs in a major university football program are instantly not mentally stable or emotionally mature or secure enough to qualify such job openings. Would you throw that kind of money at people that thin-skinned and petty?

I think this board flatters itself too much.

What in the history of Barchi's management of athletics leads anyone to believe this will be handled properly?

and.....so.....?

Nobody knows what Flood has been told by the admin. and speculations are just that, speculations. We all know that there is a money issue that has to be considered. We all know of the trials and tribulations that have happened to the program this year. Flood refers to his "support" when questioned about the fan's obvious unhappiness. I have already posted that I think Flood has already been told that he is coming back next year. I base this on his comments to this issue that seem to fly in the face of a guy teetering on the edge.
As to possible replacements reading this board, how about not even finding a fan board? There are plenty of programs that nobody bothers to post on their boards.
If a guy is worried about being held accountable, he's not the right guy.
