Rutgers Football has promoted Player Development Assistant Mike Cardinali to Assistant Director of Recruiting and they also hired Scouting Assistant Matthew Connelly.
Cardinali is a Long Branch, New Jersey native who played both Lacrosse and Football at St. Joe's - Metuchen before spending a prep year as a lacrosse player at the Hun School. He went to spend four years at Hobart College before joining the staff last summer.
Connelly is a Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts native and spent the past three seasons working at Wake Forest, the first two as an intern and this past season working with the Recruiting and Player Personnel department.
