Maybe I missed this, but there is something very key in this Carroo story. The victim has claimed she was slammed to the ground. I have 1 question. When this victim was being treated after the incident, was she treated for concussion like symptoms? If not, I can guarantee she was not slammed. Anyone "slammed" to the pavement by someone Carroo's size is going to be treated for a concussion at the very least.
Ps I wasn't on here yesterday, so I could have missed some info. Forgive me.

I thought the same thing, but the truth is this is one side of the story - the word 'slammed' initially gave me the impression that this is WWE style and that Carroo picked her up over his head and slammed her. In no way do I know what happened, but you just interviewed someone immediately after they were hurt both physically and emotionally - do you think the unfiltered truth will be coming out???? This is filtered through a jilted lover, who was just rejected and 'Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned'. In reality probably more of a push, and that she injured her hip my guess would be that she fell on her side. The issue is once it gets into the legal vortex who knows what can happen.

So, you have to hit your head on the ground if you're "slammed" to the ground?

got it...

Was she the old girlfriend or the new one? If she is the old girlfriend
then we can figure out what is going on. Hell, has no fury like a women
scorned."

So the OP obviously has no medical training in his life but is confident without that he can still predict with compete accuracy the results of an event he did not see with an assured diagnosis that he does not understand?

hey, @RU4Real correct me if I'm wrong here, but isn't this the same poster who, in another thread, wanted to know if I had proof that Carroo was sleeping with 2 different women when I said he should have kept it in his pants? Seems he might agree with me now, eh?

It doesn't take a genius to understand if you get slammed to the ground and hit your head, chances are you'll be treated for a head injury.

Carroo pleaded not guilty, any chance he gets reinstated to play before any trial or case settlement? His future livelihood is clearly at stake by not playing now.

^I'd say zero chance he plays this year. Not even thinking about that.

He's done.

I wouldn't even want the kid the on the team. I'm gonna root for this kid now? I don't think so.

Whether fair or not, unless we have concrete evidence that he did something minor he can't see the field for Rutgers this year. Similar to the basketball program a few years back, I believe we are about to enter the healing phase.

Just throwing this out there: what if her hips/hands/shoulders, etc, hit the ground prior to her head, but her head still DID hit the ground?

Correct.

Too much Nick at Night, I guess.

First I was just having some fun. Secondly you are still talking about his
sleeping with them. How do you know those details. Look, I know I have
a few generation on these kids. But in my day if two women were going after
the same didn't mean he had his d%^& out of his pants, and he was doing both.
But let's go with your theory, ok? Maybe the girls should have kept their knickers
up. Maybe the young daughters could hear that part too, not just the male parts.

The victim admitted to The Record this morning that she and Caroo have known each other for since HS and were romantically involved. What does that mean to you? They were making out at Inspiration Point?

Why would the victim essentially admit to being Caroo's side chick if, you know, she wasn't ACTUALLY HIS SIDE CHICK? Who would purposely heap that upon themselves?

I have no idea what happened on Saturday, but I must say that threads like this (which parse witness statements and rationalize aspects of crimes none of the posters were witness to) read uncomfortably similar in tone to those on another message board we usually make fun of.

Maybe it was collegiate wrestling rules and he dropped to one knee when delivering the take down and placing her on the ground vs Olympic rules where he received extra points for a throw to the ground.

She also mentioned in the article that he “picked me up and just dropped me,” so just playing devils advocate, but to me that is not nearly the same as aggressively slamming someone to the ground.
That being said, you dont have to hit your head that hard to do damage/feel pain. (just look at Natasha Richardson's skiing accident) The other notion is that it seems much of her pain could also be from the multiple other assaults she described---girls/others pulling her hair out and hitting her with cones.
