AP reports that a "halo" has been re-painted on the image of the former/late PSU HC Joe Paterno, as part of a 90-foot "inspirational" mural in State College, more than three years after the artist removed the halo following the Sandusky conviction.

Muralist Michael Pilato said he is sorry for so quickly removing the halo from Paterno; he added the halo when Paterno died in January 2012.

Pilato had also painted Sandusky out of the mural, following his conviction.
