Incarnate Ward...... By a score of 73-51...... Who the heck is that?..... And then, how bad are we?

Losing to bad teams doesn't help the reputation of St.Johns or Rutgers.Seton Hall and Monmouth are probably the two best teams in the NY/NJ Metro area.

certainly..... My first thought after seeing this score was, we must really be bad, because I never heard of Incarnate Ward.... how could they
possibly have a better team than St Johns?

I did read elsewhere that Incarnate Ward also beat Nebraska last year.....so they must have something going on

I briefly flipped on that game and was wondering if that was essentially an in season exhibition. Never heard of them and when I was watching Barry Rohrssen was leading the discussion in the huddle during a time out. He kept saying when are we going to recognize that #1 can hit the three point shot.

But people said the Johnnies were getting better. What does it say for Syracuse who lost to them?

I saw Incarante Word play at Cal last week and they stuck with them through the first half. Not a bad team, though I had never heard of that institution before.

Incarnate Word fun fact. Their most famous alum is NBA great David Robinson. In 2011 he earned a Master's Degree (a real one, not honorary) from the school, which as you may have guessed is located in San Antonio.

Even they have better donors than us. Their football stadium was paid for by the owner of the Saints.
