Really like how they man up with the Iowa wr's. It's like playing man to man in basketball....your guy is not allowed to get the ball. Really like how the safeties run to the wr's coming into their area and not letting the wr come into open space. This is what frustrated me during RU games ....safeties never anticipated and let WR's sit open in zone.
 
Iowa has slow wrs for the most part but the stanford secondary was horrible last year from inexperience.
 
I disagree with OP. The Iowa wide receivers are slow and can't separate. The weakness on Stanford's D is their secondary. If Iowa had ANY kind of passing attack with a Leonte Carroo type WR they would actually be multi-dimensional.

As for our D, Rossi was horrible at making any kind of adjustments and he was so afraid at our young DB's getting burned he played such a soft zone, that opponents moved down the field just as easily as getting burned on one long pass play.
