Longa was all over the place today making huge plays. Got hurt, went off and rubbed some dirt in it, came back in and, clearly in pain and limping, raised his game even more and played even better. Our D was hot and cold today, but Longa was consistently great. It seemed like he was involved in every major defensive play today.

Carroo was his usual great self. Agudosi was great when he came in for Carroo. Martin had a strong game too. But nobody had a better game than Longa.

In my humble opinion, that is. :)

Edit: sorry about the brain fart on the last name. Doh. So glad I didn't give anybody a hard time about misspelling Carroo's name today.

Should've come to the Olive Branch with us - was pretty awesome with a modest-sized but loud crowd. And, of course, wings, fries, beer and scenery. Any improvement in your bloating and cramping?

I don't think Longo was the game MVP.The defnse gave up 52 points.Martin,Carroo and Laviano were joint MVP'S.

I'm still coughing up lung cookies big enough to choke a whale shark. Better I stayed home.

Who went?

The announcer was calling him Steve Longo all game though.
I'd love to claim that's what led to my brain fart, but I never noticed that. I am dosed up on cold medicine though, so maybe I'll blame that. Or early dementia. Or low IQ. One of those things.

The defense came up huge in the fourth quarter. Had to pich a shutout in that frame for us to have a chance.

Oh my. Brain fart. LOL
You can edit the title by clicking on the wrench logo, then clicking on "edit title." Would save you some abuse, 'cause you're a good dude and nobody wants to see unnecessary carnage. :-)

Thanks. I was looking for a way to edit it and it didn't even notice the wrench.

The defense gave up 52 points, nobody played well.
So if Longa made no bad decisions, had no missed tackles, made lots of key tackles and did it all while injured, he can't be said to have had a great game, personally, because not everybody else on D played equally well?

That's ridiculous.

Nobody is saying he didn't play well; just that it's really, really tough to award and MVP to a guy on a D that gave up the kind of yardage and points, we did, when there were legit stars on O today.

Love the energy on this kid Longa. His tackling fundamentals are solid. This team is going to improve with each and every game.
