According to the US census Bureau, Iowa is 15% black, Hispanic, Asian and Native American so 20.8% per that graph is overachieving…

The charts basically reflect the Asian population in the student body. USC 5.8%, Rutgers 6% and UCLA 3.5% have the lowest percentage of black students. Affirmative Action program have been eliminated in Calif in 1996. Maryland has the highest % of black at 11%, Michigan State 7.7% and Ohio State at 7%. USC 19.1%, UCLA 19.5%, Rutgers 29.5%, Washington 25.5% and Northwestern 16% have the highest Asians population in the B10.
