I just heard this and that Don Bosco got #3. Verona was #6 and 4 & 5 were Teaneck & West Side but I'm not certain which is 4 and which is 5 but they should play each other on Wednesday with Don Bosco playing Verona on Wednesday as well.

Patrick School got #1 and I believe will play the Teaneck-West Side winner and Linden should play the Bosco-Verona winner on Friday at Toms River.

My source is I believe very reliable.

Good source...

I live in Tom's River and may attend. Is Rutgers in decent shape with any player on any team ?

One of the Guards is Minnesota bound and I believe the other is headed to Monmouth.

Two Forwards headed to Tulane

I believe the Patrick School has at least six D-1 kids counting Manuel who s only a junior. SHU wants their PG, Walker. How can any normal high school team compete with that especially with 7'1" Richards, 6'10" Manuel, and 6'10: Ajang on the back line. Add Walker at PG and Harris at the 2G and one sees how loaded they are. They are taller than most D-1 teams. It is amazing to me that Linden with only one D-1 kid and only one guy I think 6'4" who only plays about 8 minutes a game even defeated them in one of their 3 games. It is amazing to me how this school and other parochial powers just keep reloading every year. The Patrick School only has about 180 students in the school and over 30 play basketball. I would think the state eventually should be investigating how these schools are even surviving and how these students can afford the tuition to go there. There must be some really wealthy contributors to keep these schools funded. They cannot possibly be offering all of the classes that normal public schools offer like AP classes etc. What type of salaries can their teachers receive? After teaching and coaching 36 years in a public school these things puzzle me.

Some of the students get scholarships and pay very little. Public schools cannot do that. I believe there are only about 145 students in the entire school of middle school through high school. About 45 of those students are boys on the basketball team. Their girl's school is also one of the top teams in the state. Thus counting both boys & girls about half the students are there playing basketball. I think there are only about 16 teachers in the entire school. Listing all the classes they say they offer doesn't add up to me. Some must be on line classes or such.

The listing of classes just do not add up. Many of these classes must be 1 on 1 setups. Their list of teachers shows very few in every subject. It is impossible for these classes to be regular classes with several students in each class. One social studies teacher cannot possibly be teaching all of these classes that are supposedly available to all of these students. It just doesn't add up to me.

There is a separate list of AP online classes. St Pat's was always a small school - often with 10-15 per class, yet they offered a full range of math, science, language and social science. Not uncommon to have 1-2 math teachers, 1 science teacher etc
