Beat it.Cause this could NEVER happen in New Brunswick!!!!!
Hope nothing terrible happens, and hope they get the thugs off the streets.

Contradictory? never said they didn't count. I just stated facts and you came up with your own assumption with my comment. Not trying to pretend anything. lol. Its obvious Rutgers was better than Cuse that era, they had a better coach in Schiano and a better program at the time. Syracuse was better for several decades prior. This is not hard
Money,Another Cuse thread. Over 150 posts in another thread. 20 in another. Way more posts compare to theirs. Just sayin

I totally agree with you. Senseless to have a thread of a team you dont play. But again there threads here too. You probably should go there and express that. You will probaly enjoy their reaction. I dont have a reation. I enjoy Rutgers football. Again I wish you guys well
lolMoney,
You're not doing well here.
He liked it because I speak truth and fairness. When you guys make good points, I agree. Im not in denial. Also GS didn't bury SU. Grob did. Like I said every school was beating us during his era. Not just Rutgers. We lost to Akron by 20. Again, you guys did what every other school did in the big east.Money,
You gidrools have the longest thead I've ever seen on a message board and it's specifically dedicated to us. You even stalk nj.com looking for RU info. Don't try to say that our threads are equal to that thread. Basic match will tell you differently. GS buried your program. Move on.
Not surprised a trader like Nightshift liked your post. Please take him.
Beat it.
I don't think anyone is making fun of the situation. Just having fun messing with me. I started it, they're just finishing it.I'm a big Rutgers fan..but blasting Syracuse and the area because there's a group of thugs threatening people is just dumb.
Yes, it's in the middle of nowhere. Yes, I'd hate to live there. Yes, it's cold and dreary. And yes, they're football program has been terrible lately. There's plenty more to make fun of about them then this issue..cause it could very well be NB this is happening in.
That's all I'm saying..go RU!!

What? What conference or national titles you guys had. What bowl wins that were comparable to SU before the Shea era. SU had more to lose. There was recently a post on "Most Hated Schools" and Rutgers seemed to make most of the lists.
How is this any different than Shea burying Rutgers? You guys think it was so special to run up the scores on Terry Shea teams? Although Severely undermanned from a financial, infrastructure and personnel standpoint we fielded some competitive teams under Graber and Anderson. Shea is where the bottom fell out. I'm convinced Cuse fans view of Rutgers is frozen in the mid to late 90's.

My point is just because they made one thread and put all the posts togther doesnt mean its more than whats here. I see alot of SU threads created. Seems like every few weeks here and people go all out with their comments lol. There are times when people dont post for months in that thread on that Cuse sites. If you combine all the threads together here it would be more. Im sure
Howard was charged with two counts of assault in the second degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree. He is currently being held on $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 bond at Onondaga County Justice Center.
Huh? You stab two people, multiple times and can walk if you can come up with $20g's? That's horrifying..
It's not really a Syracuse thread per se. It's a thread about how a former player of a college team has apparently put a hit out on the current roster. Unprecedented and crazy. It just happens to be happening at Syracuse.
I wouldn't send my own kid there, that's for sure.
Do you blame them? Rutgers use to be a easy win. So when Rutgers got better and started beating them, people wasnt ready to accept that. We were also sick fans when we lost to Uconn, Pitt, Nati and South Florida. Rutgers did what everyone else did in the G Rob era. Beat SUMoney, you have some of the funniest fans on the board. I remember every time Rutgers beat Syracuse, the Syracuse fans would come up with an excuse why their team was better. They would take out the 2-3 turnovers and counting only offensive yardage, they would convince themselves they won. This would happen consistently. Those were some sick fans. I never saw this on any other board.
You're a good sport. I think there are a few Rutgers fans that keep posting about Cuse when it's not necessary. They are the same as the obsessed Cuse fans.Do you blame them? They are releasing people like this all the time now. There is a reason for it. A really bad one.

Yeah we all knew it was coming. He was a Shafer commit. He already de committed from Miami. The new staff was cold on him because he wasnt one of their guys. The biggest factor was he wanted to stay close to home. He is waiting for a Fla, FSU offer. If he doesnt get one of those, he will stay with FAUIn other news (for Money), Cuse just had a decommittment to FAU.
What a slap in the face.In other news (for Money), Cuse just had a decommittment to FAU.
RutgersSal was from one of the BC Rivals guys, and was so funny it was well-received even on this board.Wasn't it the 'Cuse board that came up with RutgersSal? That was funny shit.

The BC RIvals fans hated us and we hated them, but they had some of the funniest and most original message board content I've ever seen. I remember a long thread about Bill Bellichek that was pure gold.
Doooooooooooooonnnnnnnn'tttttttt CaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrreeeeeThat's actually a good point. 5 posters. Why are people upset with 5 guys who post in a useless thread? There are millions of other SU fans. Its funny how that thread is always talk about here, because of those 5 guys. There's alot more than 5 guys bashing SU in this forum.
Doesn't make sense. Wasn't Boggs bail 500k or a million? I could be wrongHoward was charged with two counts of assault in the second degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree. He is currently being held on $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 bond at Onondaga County Justice Center.

I agree, Its not really hard to figure out. Cuse and Penn st use to take NJ talent from the state. Penn st still does, SU doesnt anymore. Thats a good correlation. Its also part of the reason SU havent got back to the 90's era. There is way too much talent in NJ for Rutgers to ever go back to the Shea era. I disagree with Cuse fans are hoping Rutgers go back. Being a middle of the pack Big Ten team doesnt hurt SU. SU alway got their players from other states. NYS dont have alot of prospects. The computer/forum world, some Cuse fans might think have Rutgers on their minds but I can tell you no one talks about Rutgers in NYS. The average Cuse fan would say Rutgers havent done anything to really say wow. 2006 season is an exception. So was Va Tech for a long time. So was Baylor. So was UConn basketball pre-Calhoun. Things change in sports over time. People need to come to grips with it. Fans of programs like Syracuse and Notre Dame (and Pitt) have sadly not come to accept this and continue to torture themselves. Yes, in the past 30 years Rutgers has transformed from an independent/1-AA level doormat to a consistently competitive middle of the road major college football program. And as much as Cuse fans are hoping (no praying) that we revert back to the Shea Era any day now, it's likely not going to happen. There are some expectations now of not only how this program should perform on the field but also off of it. Remember, as in over his head as he was, Kyle Flood was still 4 games over .500 in his 4 years as head coach and two of those seasons were in the Big Ten. Point being Greg Schiano built this program on a pretty sturdy foundation that it did not have when Syracuse was running up the score on us in the mid to late 90's.
I think he's still in there and he don't come close to sinking a knife in anyone. Maybe a reporting error because it doesn't make sense, otherwise.Doesn't make sense. Wasn't Boggs bail 500k or a million? I could be wrong

Are we talking education or becoming educated ? Hard to tell which is taking place. In the wake of the recent stabbings of two players by an ex-player, Dino Babers is now advising his team to avoid going out alone and to not wear Cuse gear in public. Apparently the perp of the stabbing attack is a local with a checkered past and know associations with bad people. Said bad people have now been making threats against the current players.
Very scary situation up there that I hope gets under control in a hurry before more people get hurt.
Two take homes for me; recruiting character kids needs to be non-negotiable (looking at our school too) and I would support a "war" on gangs. These guys aren't protecting a neighborhood anymore, they are criminal organizations. Send in the troops.

Actually, it was a pretty cool post. And very accurate. And the B1G basement is like Valhalla compared to the acc dungeon.
