Tailgate menu?

If you would come out of mommy and dad's basement maybe you would not be so smug and cavalier toward fans of Rutgers...I loved your thinking that because you sit your lazy arse at home you have contributed to us being in the B1G ... I maintain you are a phony, cheap, smug and have never been a Rutgers fan...oh and one more thing...I have gotten to this "cranky " age...you on the other hand have a long way I 'm sure to get here ...enjoy your yourself.
i'm assuming your post is directed at me... and you're an ass if that is the case... i buy shirts, hats, other RU gear.. i pay for the freaking BTN... just cuz i prefer to avoid traffic and save money doesn't mean you need to be a dick about it.. and guess what genius, i never claimed EVER that i was an alum.. so i have no obligation to RU and even if i was an alum of RU it's people like you who would completely turn me off by randomly going after someones opinion on the internet... way to represent your school spirit dude!!!!

You don't have to ASSume anything about the post buddy...my issue is with those who claim support of Rutgers but somehow always manage to backhand the fanbase ... EX: how stupid they are ( the attenda- tards- tailgaters ) you are a smug ass ... you ridicule the game-day but have NEVER experienced it here... I don't criticize those who enjoy this part of college football...You most likely sit at home in your parents basement stroking in between quarters of the game...Lastly, the majority of alums don 't care if you went to Rutgers or not we enjoy anyone's support even if you don't contribute a dime to the school in donations...I would guarantee those sweatshirts, tees, ( Block R car magnet ? ) all come with this line from you when asked by someone..." Did you go to Rutgers? and you probably answer... yes...with a B1G smile of course... then go on to tell what you majored in...what year graduated ....and how much you give to the school each year...that is why I'm a cranky old codger who chases the kids off my lawn...btw: it was directed towards FanSanu52

Okay thanks Jason. I tried to move the oven door against the wind in the past but had mixed success. Plus trying to cook 12 or so pies made it tough! Love the oven but will make a call whether to do them at the tailgate or at home. I will look at the wind block for future use, thanks for pointing that out.
this is what I use at the tailgates

Wives at tailgate?

Amateurs.

uh. huh. except when they're the only reason you have a functioning tailgate ;-)
anyway back to the menus - Saturday will be taco bar. With pulled pork and spicey bistec and infused tequilas.

doesn't matter whether it was directed at either of us.... that is the kind of shit people see(SL included) when they read this board and you expect to grow a fanbase with that drivel?... not a season ticket holder so you're not a fan?... or you suck because you don't go to games? ..... you sir are nuts and part of the problem, not the solution... congrats!

You misunderstand pretty hard. "Attenda-tards" are micro-managing fans that care way too much about whether 1) other fans attend games and 2) whether they're in their seats 10 mins before kickoff. In effect, they're the ones "backhanding other members of the fanbase." They're not just "people that like to go to games," which is cool with me and probably everyone in the universe.

Now your posts show that you're both an attenda-tard and a donation wanker, but let's at least keep things straight.

As for how TV viewers help: RU was invited to the B1G because of its television performance and potential, not its stunning attendance numbers. And that's why I find the whole overbearing obsession with attendance so lame. Packed stadiums and no TV viewership = the old unprofitable days of CFB. The sport's become a huge financial engine because of TV, so don't be critical of those who enjoy it that way. If you like to go to the game, you go. If you'd rather be home, or going isn't an option at all, you stay home. WTF cares what someone else does, especially when he's supporting the team either way?

tl;dr You owe both 1776U and I an apology and a "thank you." I, for one, will accept them one at a time or in a quick two-fer. Up to you.

That's pretty cool! I can only cook one pie at a time, about 12" maybe slightly more. I don't have as open a entry point. I'll try to get a picture. Good luck Saturday, looks like we are a go too. I'll make the dough tomorrow or Friday morning, the sause Friday, assembly at the tailgate.

I usually only make 12" as well. I get my crust from restaurant depot. Bar pies. Enjoy

Oh, I get it now. Wasn't sure what you meant, but yeah, no ink in beef. Unless, you know, I have to kill it myself with a ball point pen.
I was thinking more along the lines of not having a SIGNATURE dish if you have no ink. Can't sign without the ink. But anyway, so be it.
Have a great day or night or both.

Can't believe I missed the pun. I'm feeling cognitively impaired. Gotta be all the hookers and blow.

@ruhudsonfan

You going to the game and tailgating? If so, is this a good game for me to drop in to say hi and pay off my bet? Won't be lobro (unless you insist :)); most likely sirloin which is what I'll be bringing to my crew's tailgate.

If the answers are yes, yes, and yes, then I'll need to know how to find you. I would normally marinade the beef (teriyaki and/or balsamic or something along those lines) but don't have to if you prefer it without.

I think our crew will be arriving about 3:30 or so. So I would drop it off just after we arrive so you can cook it up as desired.

@RU4Real - in case he's not checking the board today, could you maybe give Hudson a head's up about what I posted above?

Already did, awaiting reply. FWIW he hasn't indicated, thus far, that he's coming to the game. I bought a whole prime rib and will be doing "Prime Rib Two Ways" (steak cuts and sandwich cuts, the latter with au jus and horseradish dressing), Sauteed Garlic Shrimp with Scallions and Home Fries (cooked in pure beef tallow rendered from the trimmings of the aforementioned whole prime rib).

I'll let ya know if he responds, or he may just do it himself.

Ah, okay. Thanks. So maybe additional beef is overkill for you guys for your tailgate anyway.

Can always defer it. I'll be there tailgating w/my crew for all home games for at least another couple seasons. Alternatively he can substitute something else for the beef (wasn't like I was going to actually deliver lobro anyway - only would do that if it was Bac I lost a bet to - lol).

If you'd like to deliver Tailgate Skanks, we'd be delighted to collect this week.

Here ...I've got your apologies swinging between my thighs...typical idiot just like the rest of your anti Rutgers back handed slaps...

I'm 50/50 at this point. Some family things have shifted around. Even if I make it, it will be 1700 (that's 5pm for you civilian types) or later.

I'd suggest deferring, as 4Real indicated he doesn't want gout as a result of the tailgate.

Mighty righteous of you paying off though. Everything @RUScrew85 said about you is a lie!!!

Well... not everything, probably. LOL

Okay, we'll defer.

This reminds me that my Weber grill, same model as yours more or less, has suddenly stopped working. Worked fine one day, not working the next. It lights, but the three main burners and the sear burner only just barely light and the minuscule flames sputter.

Would take a half year just to warm some bread, let alone sear anything.

I'll call Weber, but I thought these things were supposed to be reliable. :(
You may have tripped the excess flow safety on the gas valve by opening the valve too quickly. Once engaged only a trickle of gas will flow to the burners. You need to close the valve disconnect it, wait a couple min and the reconnect it. The the gas valve needs to be opened slowly.

Sheeeet... me and Mildone have reached détente for a while now.
