I think it would be a great idea to add an additional judging element to the Tailgate Contest. In light of the Alley being shut down, the judges from nj.com should come back this week and judge how well the tailgate finalists accomodate the refugee students.

I cannot in good conscience allow you to shoulder the burden of accommodating all those student refugees. So we will be happy to accommodate up to twenty five young women. Oh, and we're not interested in winning any awards that might result in photographic evidence, I mean pictures, of our tailgate.

Well, in all fairness, since my tailgate isn't among the contestants I don't have to worry about being Judged.

I did, previously, offer to host some small number of female students. That offer still stands, of course.

Hold on. Do we have any way to vet these "students"? Or are we just going to let any student who shows up now tailgate in the Blue Lot? I don't see how this makes any sense at all. I don't know what these students' intentions are. Maybe some of them are claiming to be students, but are actually Iowa fans. Do we have any reliable way to determine what their affiliation is? Or are we just supposed to let them all into the blue lot, only to find out later that we are overrun with Iowa fans? By then it will be way to late....probably only hours from kickoff.
