Sorry, but you are 100% wrong on the spiking the ball issue. I sit right behind the team. Three coaches at the same time where giving the spike the ball motion/ I looked up at the marker and it did say third down ( which was proven with a photo) and with all of that CL did give a motion like " what the hell are you thinking ".

Did you reach that conclusion after watching their 24-17 OT victory over powerhouse Charleston Southern at home or the 190 rushing yards by Charleston Southern or maybe their 50-44 OT victory over Eastern Washington at home......even if EWU is a top fcs team?
Maybe it's their yearly dominance over Indiana State, Illinois State or Missouri State

More like Rutgers wouldn't be so stupid to face North Dakota St.. What did you have to gain by playing this game? A win against an FCS opponent is just that, a win that gets you closer to one of those 6 victories you need for a bowl.
You don't get any kudos because they're tops in the FCS if you win. Your not going to vault up the rankings with a win over them, it was nothing but a losing proposition. If I was you I'd be pissed at how could my school be so friggin stupid to schedule this game.
That motion was probably, "I'm not going to spike the ball on 4th down." It's Laviano's responsibility to know what down it is. He should have called an audible.
No, Rutgers isn't stupid. What do you gain out of playing a good FCS team? If you win, you were supposed to win. If you lose, you are a Big Ten team who lost to an FCS...no matter how good they are....and that sucks. It's a lose-lose.

Pretty sure you don't have to worry about our QB. We say we run a spread but our 3 best running qbs usually don't play as well as our best throwing qbs.
First home RU game since maybe the 2012 season this weekend. After having season tickets for OSU the past couple seasons, I'm curious just how loud the sound is.
The pregame was extremely loud. If they didn't lower the volume during the game, I was going to leave.
Game volume was lower than it was against Howard. It drove my father out of the stadium at halftime last weekend.
Also, the OSU game will be scaled back to 30 minutes and will be a reality show instead of a sports program.
