The AAC and Acc should have a relegation

The AAC should own the Acc's P5 designation. Clearly they are the better conference this year. It would be fair to have them compete with each other for that designation.

Either that or change to a P4 situation and the ACC could become part of the G6.

As long as those two schools are there, there status won't change.

However, even with 14 schools they will always been the worst of the 5 every year forever and ever.

An ACC school has to go undefeated to make the playoffs or hope everyone else loses a lot.

P5 is determined by what TV will pay for the conference games. Nothing more, nothing less.

So every morning I alternate between college football and the football show on Sirius xm. This morning, on the first team (McElroy and Zarzour), McElroy said he thinks that top to bottom, the AAC >> ACC. I almost drove off the road in glee

He's the first national guy who I've heard that has had the balls to say that

AAC is not better overall BECAUSE of the void at the top. And at least Clemson over ND is something. And what is our own best win, looking back ? Northwestern over Stanford I guess ? Pretty good, but not any better than Clemson over ND

Great article. Really told it like it is. Nice to see the bad pub for the ACC. I will be pulling hard for Florida and USCe at the end of the regular season to prevent the ACC from making the Final Four.

How would relegation work? Would the last place team in each AAC division be sent down to the ACC, or would it be only a single team.
