Today they had a 9–2 lead over Penn State. It was 10-7 going into the ninth, Joe Mazza had been brought into pitch in the eighth. Back in the first game, he had been brilliant, I didn’t understand why he was pulled in that game and RU lost on a walk off after he got pulled. Today, he was struggling terribly. But they stayed with him. In the bottom of the ninth, the first two batters hit home runs. This was followed by two solid contact singles and a sacrifice. After a pop-up, another solid contact single for a walk off win. I know the staff is thin with injuries, but I thought a couple of guys were available.

BTW, two more pitchers went out with injuries mid-count because of injury. Also, Trevor Cohen, who never misses a game, got hit in the ankle and managed to stay in the game. But because he was favoring that ankle, slid awkwardly into second base, injuring the other ankle and then had to go out. I hope they are all OK.
