Bubbles are designed to collapse in conditions like this. No worries.
I thought the bubble gets deflated.
I also thought they deflated it during bad storms?
You're not missing anything... The content there is either stolen or they jump the gun to break the news and are often wrong... Don't waste your money... I did and regret itThanks ! I should probably look at 247 more often ! by coincidence, my BTN channel w Cablevision is on channel.... 247.
Disagree. They break more stories than anyone. While the conversation here is better they scoop every other site. I think it's because they are young......You're not missing anything... I wonder if they've resolved their legal issues...You're not missing anything... The content there is either stolen or they jump the gun to break the news and are often wrong... Don't waste your money... I did and regret it

What would be the approximate costs to build a permanent structure to replace the bubble? Id imagine it wouldn't be as high as it would be to build new. The field is a very expensive portion of the total cost and it is already there.
In Gainsville Florida it cost them $17 million. So if we apply the 25% "Jersey" premium I'd say about $22 million.
Just wondering. The field is there already. You would just need to build a structure over it. Without the bubble of course. It's Jersey....you need to at least double it....$35-40 million.

I'd add more to it, as it would need to be built to handle the very reason that the bubble collapsed/was deflated: the weight of the snow on the roof. I would think building codes for that sort of thing are much stricter up here.
Also, I think the insurance/liability costs would be significantly higher if it's considered a permanent structure, which I believe the bubble is not.
does anyone actually read the thread?
Someone posted a picture (taken after the storm) of the bubble looking fine.
If it collapsed it was re-inflated. It's made to do that.
