Big east is so overrated man. Like who did nova and xaiver have to beat? Its little boy ball. Those teams cant bang night in and night out with the ohio states of the world
Admittedly I can't stand the BE and the members. But I have to agree. The idea that 6 of these schools are locks is ridiculous. Hope they crash and burn.
There is plenty of parity in every conference this season .Some fans would also say mediocrity.The NCAA Tournament will be exciting and there probably will be upsets occurring regardless of the seedings.

Also, the BE did well in out of conference play early in the season and the B1G did not. Like it or not that counts.
It seems to be accepted that Seton Hall is a lock, but boy are they living off some good non-conference wins earlier in the year. I thought the committee took into account how you are playing now and the momentum you are carrying into the tournament. You can't argue that this team has momentum going into the tournament.
THIS......and this is what its basically all about, its about scheduling strong and winning games against quality competition non conference. The Big East and conferences like the Big 12 and SEC did while the Big 10 scheduled embarrassingly poor and they did not win many games out of conference vs Power 5. Delaney had better get on the phone with all ADs to correct this next year. Going to 20 conference games will help...but only if it means less cupcakes are scheduled. Big 10 schools need to take this seriously. Manipulating the rpi and metrics are something that certain schools and conferences have taken advantage of. If the smartest conference of the Power 6 cannot take advantage of that well than that is their own fault.
In reality the Big East is overrated beyond their top 2 and Nova is a fading quickly this year, that they will be possible one is a joke.
they were in two weeks ago, there just are not enough good teams to go around. Adding 3 more teams made the bubble even more bloated. with schools that should not get in. Out of conference and SOS is the top things the committee looks at...body of work. SHU got enough wins down the stretch after that struggle they had midseason to complete their resume. I see SHU as an early exit for many reasons but I think Willard is a poor coach, besides Ewing and Mullin he is the worst in the league.
I think they downgraded the importance of things like "last 5" and "last 10" because it was so arbitrary and based on who happened to be on your schedule during that time. Wish they weren't counting that in '99.
They did and that is a shame. Those last 10 are league games and tourney games. ,big intense important games. Almost ncaa tourney like ... To me the better reflection of your team,

Willard on TV after the Providence - Xavier game... he looks like Pee Wee Herman shaved his head. No surprise he has behavior problems on the team.
If you saw the game last night in front of a sold out garden and still think the Big East is overrated you just don't have a clue. The place was electric!!!
theyll still win tourney games. jay is just a really good coach.

I don’t know what this big east hate is about. 6/10 teams have an RPI better than 45 and plenty of impressive nonconference wins. Hell even St. John’s beat duke.
What does this even mean? Lol. Big 10 falls off a cliff after Ohio state.....the team that butler beat.
You obviously don't have a clue 6 out of 10 teams will be going from the Big East with an outside shot at 7. The Big Ten will send 4 out of 14 that's ten teams that will be on the sidelines for the Big Ten. Talk little boy ball all you want you will be watching while we are competing.

Everyone gets lucky once in a while kyk. The B1G is in no position to brag this year.
