They are good but I am 95 percent sure we will beat them.

They're a Q3 game at home. They're not horrible but all caps GOOD is a bit of a stretch.

I'm not sure how well models will fit us right now, though - we only have two games of 33 with the current rotation/appoach.
I think there's basically no question we are the better team but motivation is a big wildcard.

True. But it is what it is. We're in this situation so we can either mentally pack it in or make the most of the situation. Personally, unlike our fans, I think the kids are going to be pumped and want to show the committee that they belonged.

Sorry to say but if that's the case as a senior captain I hope Pike has the balls to sit him. If you don't want to play hard, go the bowl game route and say you're injured and don't suit up.
Some good teams in the tournament. Get past Hofstra and probably see Cincinnati. Maybe a rematch with SHU and possibly Clemson in semis. I can get excited for these matchups. Win and help get some of the bad taste out.

Caleb isn't going to half ass it, and I think he'll come ready to play. If he sat out because of his back, I don't think anyone could blame him. But I don't see it happening.

No. If he was, we wouldn't be in NIT. That said, Rutgers should never have fallen to this level in span of 4 weeks. We were 2nd in conference. WTF. Horrible.

Pretty sure that the NIT isn't some massive money maker for the NCAA. Saw somewhere that the NIT finals draws about as many TV eyes as an WNBA Finals game.

It ain’t ncaa tournament money but schools aren’t playing these games and ESPN isn’t airing them if they’re not making money off them. Why else are they getting played? It’s the same as all these meaningless bowls.
