Not sure what the situation is with Richardson. He may be gone for the year. But if the judge and NFL are lenient and gets to play, the Jets could go to SB. Yes. I will be the first one to make this prediction since good D can stop any good O. They will have to beat the Pats at least once this year.
Fitzpatrick is good enough to win since he has two excellent WRs, good Oline and decent backs. Marshall is a game changer and Decker catches any ball that is thrown to him.
I am predicting this team can go to SB based on last night's performance since they made one of the elite QB look quite ordinary. .

I am jets fan and love our d, but in this day and age, you go to the SB on the strength of your Qb. Not convinced yet with Fitz. Definitely feel we could be a SB team with a top 5 Qb.
The MVP of the Jets so far is IK, for knocking Geno out of the starting QB role.
Don't know if they need anything more than a 'game manager' with a D like theirs. Trent Dilfer won a SB, etc...
Good point Utah with Dilfer. However I will say this about Trent Dilfer, today he would be an above average QB.
The way the Jets played it, as soon as they got a two score lead they just settled to run the ball and use up time. When the Colts got a score to make it a one score game, the Jets put the ball back into Fitzpatrick's hands and they scored at will, then settled to running the ball again.
Why do you say Fitzpatrick is not good? What do you think is going to happen?
Can the Jets play a good team before the Super Bowl talk? Looked good but Indy is terrible.
Fitz is quite accurate less than 20 yards. Look at Brady. He hardly ever throws a long pass, yet they are always one of the best teams in the league.
Jets don't have to pass a lot if they can run and keep the defense off the field.
Also, let's not forget, the Jets are well coached. Bowles looks like a winner and not looking for attention like Ryan.
Some teams chuck a long one to keep the defense spaced out. A lot of those long Fitz passes was throwing were too long, and they weren't catchable by WRs or DBs, Fitz with a returning Devin Smith (rookie from OSU) might get interesting. I could see jets in SB. The defense could get scary good and they have real coaches instead of that pretender Rex Ryan,
Brady throws long passes and they are beautiful. Teams have to respect that. It's why the short passes work so well.
I'm excited that the Jets fans will again be shown a glimmer of hope before getting crushed again. Fitz is not getting you far when you play the better teams. D seems to be pretty good. Kinda early for any predictions as teams will eventually expose any weaknesses, but they could get to the playoffs. Fitz not gonna get you far. Will Geno? At least he'll be rested.
