A few weeks ago some poster said, we should go after chris partridge as our head coach alot of people, admittedly even myself kindve laughed at the idea but the more i think about it, the more I think hed crush it at RU.
Look at what he did at PC, he took on a monumental rebuilding task all while having to compete with 3 of the most storied programs in our state in BC, Bosco, and St Peters (similar to how RU has to compete with 3 blue bloods) and he developed a culture and environment that all of a sudden kids were saying, you know what, screw those blue bloods, im going to war with this guy. He was an EXPERT motivator and EXPERT salesman and got the most out of his players. Took over a program that was a whipping boy against the parochials and within 3 years he built a state championship program that kids were dying to play for and was landing the top recruits in NJ, year after year.
He’s a guy who knows NJ, knows what the kids in NJ are like, knows how to sell, knows how to build a staff now that hes been in college ball for a number of years and also knows the landscape of our division. Hes also a very aggressive coach, hed bring a ton of energy and excitement to the program. Im putting him towards the top of my list. This is a better version of PJ Fleck for RU imo.
