THE OFFICIAL RUTGERS-INDIANA PREDICTION THREAD

The enviornnment was nowhere near "nasty" for the Ohio State game - Rutgers just couldn't meet the moment.
And the atmosphere will be fine, it'll be good tonight in Bloomington but it's up to Rutgers. Indiana is not some great team and it's nowhere near a hot ticket. Get in price less than $10 and for about $30 you can sit in the lower level near midcourt tonight.

Let's not already offer built in excuses.

I have the DVR of when we beat them at their place and the atmosphere was certainly tough that day
Thing is, you are saying Ohio state was not a tough place, and we lost
I would guess Indiana is a bit tougher to play at, despite not being as good as they can be

We have yet to win away aside from a neutral court
It appears we are about a 5-6 point underdog which does suggest it can go down to the end

Yes, I agree it will be tough. Rutgers is not a very good team when it leaves the Livingston campus. And yes, Bloomington is a tougher environment than Columbus.

Anything can happen but I don’t see a double-digit loss as some have predicted.

In their last 2 games Indy beat Chattanooga and Winthrop by only 9 points, so you would think we’d do better than that, and the spread of 4.5 bears that out.

I understand they’ll be more up for our game, but still. After seeing how they got blown out at Nebraska and at a neutral site against Louisville, I like our chances to keep it close.

As with any game, betting sports like predictions are a watse-- injuries and illnesses may and usually determine outcomes. As a gambler I tell everyone don't bet on sports.

If fans knew that Harper wasn't playing, nobody would have picked Rutgers to win.
