THE OFFICIAL RUTGERS-MICHIGAN STATE PREDICTION THREAD

Too much talent for Michigan State and not enough scoring from Rutgers.

Michigan State 69- Rutgers 62

MSU is too talented and has three vets on the team: Winston, Langford and Ward. They also have excellent outside shooters in McQuade as well. With that said, a few breaks here and there and the sellout crowd going nuts, anything can happen. I think MSU wins, but it may go down to the wire. Go RU! Upset MSU!

If MSU scores more than 65 points they win imo.

I'll say, MSU-66 RU-64. Free throws wind up being the difference

I’ve got no read on this game...will we be overhyped or tired? Does our hot shooting return? How does MSU respond after a loss?

Whatever happens, I will be there in person as long as United doesn’t fudge up my flight from Greenville!

You live down in Greenville? Im in town every month or two, love it down there.

But heres my opinion on our shooting. Our guys get soooo many shots up at the RAC, they shoot until like 4am sometimes, in particular Issa and there is such thing as a hometown rim. For example, I play a ton of ball and I know not only which gyms but which hoop in that gym my shot is best on. I think the same is true for Issa. Watch tomorrow, ive personally noticed that Issa shoots best on the bucket that backs up to 118. This isnt a statistical analysis just an informal observation. My guess is thats the bucket he practices his shot on most

Yep, sure do. Downtown Greenville is one of the best downtowns in America. What brings you down here?

We can play with them so it should be a good close game. It will come down to how we shoot. I think MSU will have a chip on their shoulder. MSU by 10. Hate to say it and I hope I am wrong.

Real estate. Been trying to acquire apartment communities in the GSP area over the past 4-5 months so far but no luck, keep losing out on bids, really hot market as i'm sure you know. I'm actually going to be in town next week, more so Spartanburg. I'd say if there was an RU game we could meet up and watch it together at a bar. I'll be in town 12/10-12/12, quick trip this time. I'll be back in Jan/Feb, will be sure to reach out if there's an RU game on for us to meet up at a bar and watch.

I've noticed more shots seem to fall on the end closest to the student section. That's where SJU couldn't miss. EMU shot much better down there too altough that probably wasn't the rim lol.

If we win tonight do we get some votes in AP Top 25? Maybe fall into position 30 to 35?
