I rarely take RU to win in conference play, but I think they find a way here.

We got robbed of the EO vs Murphy battle first game. Really looking forward to this matchup and a Rutgers win
Minnesota is only 1-7 on the road this year, and they usually have difficulty scoring on the road too. Their road game scoring output has been: 56, 59, 59 (albeit in a win vs. Wisky), 68, 57, 63, 55, 61, so that's an average of just 59.75 points per road game. And the highest output (68) was in a game in which Illinois scored 95, so alot of that 68 probably came in garbage time.
Point is, this is a team that struggles to score on the road, and struggles to win on the road. So I think we pull out a victory here even though Murphy and Coffey usually give us fits.

They torched us in their arena 88-70 and it wasn't that close. And if you look objectively at their schedule, you could make a case that a loss against RU on Sunday would be their worst loss of the season. Finally, they need this game in the worst way for their NCAA hopes.
But this time we have Omoruyi on the court, minutes being distributed much differently to certain players, and the game is at the RAC. Will that result in a complete turnaround from last time? We'll see.

We get back on the winning side. Minnesota is not as tough on the road as they are at their Barn. If we play our game I think we should beat them.
We need this win badly.
As for a complete turnaround from first game, I recall beating SHU 81-49 in Bannon's first year and our fans talking about sweeping them and then we lost at SHU.

If we hold them in the low 60's we can win it. But maybe we hit 75-80 and it's an easy win. Hoping for the easy.
I think we’ve been doing very well except from the FT line. I think we put it all together tomorrow night and win...
