Minnesota's overall record is 10-7. They haven't played any team that puts an effort into playing defense except Michigan State, Iowa, and Butler. Those games resulted in Minnesota losses and season-low point totals under 60. Bonus info: Minnesota is 0-5 on the road this year. They have inside /outside scoring threats that consistently results in scoring more than 60 points.
Minnesota had a lead vs Butler AT Hinkle with 10 mins to play.and Oturu was sick, though played. If you haven't seen Butler play, they are a projected #2 seed.
This is a good MN team.
Woulda, could, should, how many times have we heard that? Rutgers was right there at MSU until Myles fouled out, then MSU was never threatened.Minnesota had a lead vs Butler AT Hinkle with 10 mins to play.and Oturu was sick, though played. The #1 scoring defense in the league is Rutgers. No dispute on who has the best defense. They create extra possessions with offensive boards, the #1 team in conf offensive reb% (league play),mostly Oturu.
Need Kalscheur to continue his horrific shooting slump so they are down to two scorers. Feel good about containing Carr, but not so much Oturu.
Just as I spun the stats in Rutgers' favor you did it for Minnesota. The bottom line is Minnesota is still 0-6 away from home. And I need to see your Rutgers fan card. Are you a true fan?
