Nebraska is playing as well as anyone in the league right now - they just beat Michigan by 20 at home and barely lost to OSU (a team that blew us out) on the road last night. This will be a tough one, but one that RU has to find a way to win! RU 62 - NEB 61,
Surprised by this prediction. Nebraska has been playing at a high level. I expect them to be favored...
Don’t know what difference it will make but NU is in NJ already. Stayed in Columbus last night and went to NJ this morning.
Another must win at home for Rutgers to have any chance for a winning season.In four of the eight B1G games Rutgers has scored less than 60 points all of which were losses.

haha yeah caught that..I mean 60. I think RU can win this game, see it as a tossup. If RU gives its A game on defense, I think we win. Nebby has been playing on a high level and the OSU performance was very good BUT are they ready to take the next step as a program to legit NCAA contender and win the the games that they should win on the road...not so sure about that...they will have to prove it

Lots of optimism on this post however unless Nebraska is tired (they played Monday at OSU) or take us for granted, it's going to be difficult to beat them. They're way too athletic and the crowd at the RAC will be a typical midweek blah type of crowd - unless the Students sellout the Student Section and get roused up. Hope I'm wrong but just being practical. I see Nebbie now as the #5 team in the B1G 10 slightly ahead of Maryland.
RU is the slight home dog (+1) facing a team with a better record (for the bettors out there, follow this trend throughout college b-ball).

The preview from OnTheBanks was pretty good. I think it is correct to say right now Nebraska is the #5 team in the conference. In their building, they win. But the 1-7 road record, the quick turnaround from another road game, and RU knowing they really need this one to have a decent shot at a winning record kind of points to us figuring this one out.

Just like us with Stony Brook/Hartford, they also had two clunkers this year. But they both came very early in the season. Look at their overall body of work.
Them beating Michigan by 20 is a real head-scratcher. Beyond that they seem alot like us. Yes they played OSU to a 5-pt loss but we played MSU to a virtual tie and they got blown out by 29 against MSU.
The closest comparison is that both of us won at home by 4 points to Wisconsin with almost identical scores. So I'll say this one goes to the home team: 67-63 RU.
