THE OFFICIAL RUTGERS-USC PREDICTION THREAD

Not that impressed with ISC’s defense. I think we can score.
USC 63 Rutgers 20

Both teams have lost 3 in a row. Things are getting a little warm for USC football and HC Lincoln Riley out there. They have had significant leads in the games they have lost. A lot of criticism about not putting teams away. Unfortunately it may be bad timing for RU:

USC - 45. RU - 20

Call me quite concerned about the status / fragility and overall lack of talent on the team.

USC - 44
Rutgers - 13.

I wish USC wasn't still looking for their first B1G win, they will be very hungry and focused.

Two games...

Refs 1 - Rutgers 0 (USC will get help but they probably won't need it)

USC 31 - Rutgers 20 (and I "never" predict losses.. Please, Rutgers, prove me wrong)

Yes, I often complain about refs.. because they tend to screw us. Doesn't always happen.. but in Big Ten games.. pretty common. "real" Big Ten teams get calls. Star programs get calls. Some Big Ten HOME teams get calls (looking at you, Iowa).

I suspect Big Ten had to add west-coast Pac 12 officials teams and I think we'll have some former PAC officials for this game. But midwest or west coast refs.. do any of them have any fondness for New Jersey or East Coast folk?

Have noticed that RU's "old friend" Jerry McGinn has officiated several games on the West Coast.

I have not done any research on how the Big Ten expanded ref crews.. but I do suspect midwestern crews travel everywhere and the new crews would do the same. And I doubt its a case of, say, when OOC visitors come they often bring refs from their conference.. or at neutral venues they bring refs from a neutral conference (I doubt that is always the case).

Come to think of it.. what does Notre Dame do? Do they hire refs from other conferences to do their games.. when it is up to them?

Refs…hmmmmm…I mean look at the SEC getting a dose of it in the form of what happened in Austin. Luckily UGA was a bit much for uterus to overcome.

UCLA was the annual WTF game. Wisconsin is developing and geling and will give Penn State a run for its money this weekend. D will have players back and and younger guys better with more reps

Ru 31. SC 28
Signed. Rutgers Al junior

I skipped bargaining, moved past depression and am now into acceptance.

USC 42-24. I think we can move the ball, but this defense is beyond bad.

Prediction 1:
Rutgers no punt returns (easy bet, in the unlikely event USC even punts once, we FC as always)
USC 10 punt returns

Prediction 2:USC 45
RU 10

Prediction 3:
Schiano postgame quotes: "we're not there yet" and "we had opportunities and "we'll continue to Paul Revere until we break through"
