THE OFFICIAL RUTGERS-WAKE FOREST PREDICTION THREAD

I want to believe but the rebounding is a huge problem. I’ll be very disappointed if this isn’t a tough scrappy performance by us. Maybe getting away from home is what this team needs. Leading with the heart

You can look good, play well and still lose.
I’d prefer that over total disfunction and a whirlwind of nonsensical substitutions.
Don’t take players out when they’re hot, don’t sub during a run.

I don't understand why so many negative predictions.
Wake Forest has given up more ppg than Howard, a poor rebounding team like us, only forces 12 turnovers a game, and gives up a high % of 2pts and 3pts. The only thing Wake does well is shoot 3s and has one post guy, 4 players scoring like 90% of the points.

Rutgers 81
Wake 68

Shooting 3s well which means they need to be defended, and solid post play is not an issue for us?
Only 12 turnovers?

How am I supposed to focus on watching a game with all of the Dylan hysteria!?

Wake Forest's opponents turn the ball over 12 times a game vs Wake's poor defense, which is either they try and fail or know they aren't very good at it and don't try.

Post defense is our biggest strength this year.
Rutgers defense is 3rd out of 362 teams defending 2pt FG, 96-244 39.3% and overall FG 36.4% for 6th. I think defending Wake's lone post guy is the least of our worries tonight. Unless Wake goes Iowa on us and hits 15 to 20 3s, and that's unlikely to happen because our 3pt defense is a pretty respectable 31%.

Wake is no where near the quality opponent of Princeton or Illinois.

We'll see soon enough. Hope you're right.

It’s about us not them…always is.
Stats are irrelevant to me, I watched the Minnesota and Hofstra games last year.

These stats and analytics are super important aren’t they
