A bad loss, shame it happened but losses like this will happen and expect to see a few more like it before regular season is over.
Also expect to see some great wins and a Tourney spot from this team.
Hopefully the feelings some post about the WBB program will come when the team wins as well as when they lose.
To often some come on this board after losses to complain , but forget to come after a win to congratulate.
So far that isn't the case, unless I overlooked someone
who just came after this loss and not when the team was winning.

Just when we thought we were going to be very good we lose to a 2-4 team that wasn't very good. Did we take them lightly? A very bad loss.

Just for the record, WSU took a ranked Kentucky team to the wire.

if the team is aspiring to get to the NCAA tourney, this is the kind of game they have to win, WSU will be considered a bad loss not a good loss when the season ends....this game taken with the ugly game against bad Western Michigan raises more questions that answers after the strong start to the season. Yes the team hung with So Carolina, but the two games after that were poor even CVS will admit that

Agree, but this team is building chemistry with all the new parts learning about each other's play during the game , even if they practice game time makes a difference until everything starts coming together on a constant bases.
So WTF losses in the beginning of season might be something to expect, just like as the season goes on this team will know each-other better and bad losses like this and ugly wins will be games we don't see.
But very few teams go though a season without some WTF loses and ugly wins against a program that isn't considered very good.
