The On The Banks Article Re: Tonight's Game...

Makes no earthly sense. He talks about how Nebraska is a frankenstein roster of whatever players they could find and is arrogant enough to conclude that they’re more talented than us...? Oh honey...

My thoughts precisely Couldn't have said it better myself.

Dude from Corn Nation says Nebraska has the talent advantage. Hahahaha. Ummmm nope. They don't:

He's probably getting a bit too enamored with some recruiting rankings.

Cam Mack was the #1 JUCO player in the country.
Jervay Green was a consensus top 5 JUCO player in the country.
Dachon Burke is playing at an All Big Ten Caliber level.
Haanif Cheatem is a Grad Transfer former 4-Star with more than 1000 career points.

But Nebraska plays 8 total players, and the other 4 have serious limitations physically and athletically.

And I would be remiss if I failed to mention how Green and Cheatem play awful defense.

Is it me or doesn't also seem Shaq is finally starting to step up? That could be HUGE to spell the Monster at times...and who knows, maybe Pike has a plan for both in at once on occasions where speed isn't essential but dominating the boards is....like tonight, though with Nebbie's supposed speed I doubt we see it.

You have to remember some B1G people still live in yesteryear. Nebraska has never been a consistent basketball program, so it's odd to act superior to others when you have been the doormat most years in the B1G as well as in the Big 12, and Big 8.

This cornhusker writer was So WRONG. Myles and Shaq dominated in the paint.

I got a chuckle on the Purdue board. Most of their fans talked up Rutgers' win over Nebraska except one guy. He called Nebraska bad, but couldn't bring himself to say Rutgers is a solid team. It was like pulling teeth. [roll]
