Shooting by both Freeman and Sanders was just awful -- but the effort and heart was there. Freeman was just overmatched underneath by the Spartan defense. Sanders needed to dish back to outside when driving in as the Spartan defense in the post was just too strong.

Loved the effort and make no mistake we gave them a game.

Geo's mid range game was incredible last night.

Why can't Sanders incorporate some of THAT into his game?
He would be so much more effective.

Freeman had a team high 13pts and 9REBS...went 3-10 and was mugged 4x for 7-8 free throws
You might want to single our someone else
without him we lose by 20

Cory was 2-15 with ZERO assists...and 4 other guys went 0-1...and 0-2
Cory only has 2 moves on O and neither of them worked vs MSU

It's just amazing how RU can't find shooters-----hopefully this is at an end.

Saw Monmouth vs Hofstra last night-----Hofstra had 2 guards who were lights out players and outstanding shooters. From Ct and NYC----- Pemberton and a lefty from NYC who's name escapes me.

One of the more bizarre endings you'll ever see.

Monmouth on the line for 2 shots up 3 with 10 seconds to play.

Kid misses both----Hofstra gets ball in scramble and gets over midcourt and Monmouth fouls with 4 seconds to play.

Kid hits 1st deliberately misses 2nd----Hofstra kid beats them to rebound and slaps it outside and kid let's go a 3 which hits nothing but the cord and the floor with 1 second to play.

Good night

FT shooting for Monmouth horrific and has cost them 4 games.

Monmouth coming off a superb effort against UConn where they deserved to win but didn’t. Oh well.

Most of Freeman's misses were very poor shots? How many times was he blocked? He had at least 2 TO's just before he was about to attempt a shot. In the 1st half, I kept saying "stop". I think he had 3 possessions in a row in the 1st half where he was either blocked or just lost the ball while trying to make a move.

Freeman and Sanders have to cut out the crazy shots for us to have a chance. I'm not talking about shots with under 7 seconds left on the play clock. Unfortunately Corey is potentially the only guy who can at least get a shot off as the shot clock winds down. We really need to avoid the shot clock going under 7-8 seconds. That's a win for the opponent when we need to find a shot with less than 7-8 seconds left on the shot clock. I'd love to see our shooting percentage based on the time remaining on the shot clock.

Drives me absolutely nuts when we have those fast break transitions to the hoop and we can't even complete the layup for the easy basket. A ton of positives on this team and their effort, but the shooting needs to be noticeably improved. Holding us back from really making noise in the B1G...
