Pitt didn’t play this week. They beat 2 real teams just like us - both of which look worse after this week - Cincy (just lost to TT). WVU didn’t play but their lone decent win doesn’t look as great with Kansas losing again. There are 14 P4 teams that are undefeated. Only 4 are currently unranked; Duke, Pitt, Indiana, and RU. Anyone want to bet, that when the rankings are released there will be only two unranked, undefeated, P4 teams? RU, and Duke.
just win at nebraska if we lose that game the whole top 25 thing won’t matter.Rutgers gets a handful of votes no top 25.
This weekend:
26 Washington State loss
27 Indiana win
28 Boston College win
29 UNLV win
30 Pittsburgh bye
31 Nebraska win
Kentucky beat #6 Ole Miss. Five of top 25 who lost, lost to top 25 opponents and are unlikely to be whacked in the rankings.
Indiana, BC, UNLV, Nebraska, and Kentucky more likely than Rutgers to snag top 25 spots.
Nicole Auerbach from NBC and BTN always has good things to say about RU
that’s about right. i can’t stress it enough …,win at nebraska is all that matters right now not top 25 this week.#29 in the coach’s poll, receiving 35 votes.
Nebraska #36 receiving 12 votes.
Not sure how Pitt has 42 votes and RU 7. Pitt's wins are not more impressive than Rutgers and they just squeaked by their only decent opponents just like Rutgers. Now 34th, it’s a start.

Exactly where I predicted. We break in at 7-0
Love it, plus he doesn’t rank ND hahaFonseca puts Rutgers #25. This is considered an extreme pick.

People who thought we had a chance were clearly smoking crack
Love it, plus he doesn’t rank ND haha
You mean better offensive stats? Because they won by 1 over Cincinnati and 4 over WV, but are giving up a boatload of points.Pitt has much better stats..which a lot of times is all voters look at since it’s hard for them to watch every game.

He’s annoying with certain things but he’s spot on there. Louisville was a fraud and ND has the NI loss.Love it, plus he doesn’t rank ND haha
What?Keep winning, while playing tougher defense. Those in the Top 25 mostly kept winning, while if not lost to 1 loss teams. Rutgers chance this week was destroyed on that ugly Blue turf in Boise. Washington State who beat Washington lost by 21.
It all adds up, VA Tech should have but didn't, we win, but in a fashion where non home fans can say Washington lost, and this was a week of near upsets. Maybe if Washington had won the Apple Cup.
Wait, isn't NJ.com out to get us.Fonseca puts Rutgers #25. This is considered an extreme pick.

This also depends on whether enough teams in front of RU lose.Win next week then Top 25.

If we win next week I think we have a chance for GameDay the next week
I don't know who Chip Towers is, but he ranked Pitt #17You mean better offensive stats? Because they won by 1 over Cincinnati and 4 over WV, but are giving up a boatload of points.
I don't know who Chip Towers is, but he ranked Pitt #17

Chip must be a Pitt alum, I mean needing a 21 point miracle comeback to win by one over Cincnnati and a last sec TD to beat WV does not warrant #17 in anyone's world.I don't know who Chip Towers is, but he ranked Pitt #17
